John W. Thiel, a director since December 2022, is a Partner and Senior Advisor with MyNextSeason, an executive coaching firm, a role he has held since 2018. He was employed at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 1989 to 2018 where he served in several executive positions, including Vice Chairman of Global Wealth and Investment Management of Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2017 to 2018, Head of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management from 2011 to 2016 and as Head of Private Banking and Investment at Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2011. Mr. Thiel also serves on the boards of directors of Franklin Resources, Inc., where he is a member of the audit committee and the compensation committee, Decker Communications, a private company, as well as several non-profit and philanthropic organizations. Mr. Thiel is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investment Committee and previously served as a member of FINRA’s Board of Governors, where he was a member of the audit committee. Mr. Thiel is a trustee of Florida State University, from which he also has a BS degree, and is a former certified public accountant.
