Joseph M. Harvey, a director since July 2022, is Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of Cohen & Steers. Joining Cohen & Steers in 1992 as a REIT analyst, Mr. Harvey subsequently served as a portfolio manager from 1998 to 2016 and Chief Investment Officer from 2003 to 2019. He has served as Cohen & Steers’ President since 2003 and its Chief Executive Officer since 2022. Mr. Harvey also served as Cohen & Steers’ acting Chief Executive Officer from February 2021 until June 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Harvey was a Vice President with Robert A. Stanger Co., where for five years he was an analyst specializing in real estate, oil and gas and related securities for the firm’s research and consulting activities. Mr. Harvey also serves as a Vice President, director and chairman of each of Cohen & Steers’ U.S. registered open-end and closed-end funds. Mr. Harvey holds a BSE from Princeton University.
